Katie's babysitting adventures, Christmas and Kason's new toy

Katie was asked to watch our next door neighbor, Beckham. She did a great job. Our neighbors are super cool and let her bring Beck over while she was watching him. These two little guys are going to be the best of friends!

 Christmas Time!!!!!! I love Christmas! This year my parents came to our house because their house was under construction. They brought little Penny to share in the joy of Christmas.

Katie made Kellen a hipster sheep for Christmas. She spent a lot of time on it. It was super cute!

 Aunt Stephanie got Kason a really cute outfit while we were in St. George for Thanksgiving. I decided to take a few photos. He looks like such a cute man!

Kellen looking manly. He is playing on the ipad that he saved up to buy. He would do little odd jobs at home and at Grandma Lyle's house. He worked really hard for it! I was so proud of him.

Kason tried out the saucer for the first time on December 27, 2015. He loved it!!! It opened up a whole new world to him. It also made it easier to cook dinner or get other things done while he played with his toys. I want to hug whoever invented the saucer. Job well done!

Tom's new adventure

December 4, 2015, was Tom's last day at University of Phoenix. While the job served a purpose, it was not the job Tom really wanted. He wanted to jump back into Landscape Architecture. Sure enough, he took the plunge. While it still scares me to death, we were ready to "jump" with him. The kids and I made signs to congratulate him on his patience while working at another job for almost six years and his guts for jumping ship and heading out on his own!

This note is from Kellen. It says:

Dear Dad,

I'm happy for you. I can't wait for you to finally work at home! Now we don't have to walk to Grandma's. Congrats, Father! You must be proud!

Kellen's Piano Recital

Kellen had his first recital this December. He was a little nervous but did a great job. He even played a duet with his teacher. 

He may not love playing piano right now but I hope he will find it helpful when he starts playing in the band later. He is determined to be in the band when he is in fifth grade. I hope he likes piano and decides to stick with it. 

I am not sure why Kellen was not super happy in this picture.
