No You're Not!

Yesterday Katie was being a total stinker and she was mad at me for something. When the spirit of contention is in our house I usually go to the piano and start playing primary songs. So I decided to play "I Am Trying To Be Like Jesus". You should know that I don't just play but I also sing along, and rather loud too. So I start singing, "I am trying to be like Jesus, I am following in His ways" just as I finish that line I hear, from the corner, NO YOU'RE NOT! I was laughing so hard! I could not even finish playing the song. Katie and I had a really good laugh. After that we were friends again and the spirit of contention was replaced with the spirit of laughter. These truly are the good times!!!

Where are we moving??

Many people have asked where we are moving. Well, if we can actually sell our house in this market, we are going to move across Germann into the other half of Power Ranch. We like it here and have made some FANTASTIC friends. It would be too hard to leave. We will see how it goes though. We are not willing to give our house away, although now is the time to buy...it's a toss up.

Katie's newest phrase is "oh snap". She learned it from her old preschool flame. I can always tell when she's a little unhappy about something because I can hear her from another room yelling "OH SNAP!" It is so funny!

"A"

WOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!! I got an A in my class! It was the hardest thing ever, but it was worth it. I will never do another class in just eight weeks though! It was way too tough with two kids. I have learned a valuable lesson throughout this whole ordeal though...persistance pays off! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Onto my next class. I will be taking Anatomy/Physiology next. I am giving myself a week to relax before I sign up for another one.

Mirror, Mirror, on the floor, who's the most handsome of them all???

Our mirror is on our floor right now as I am painting my room. Kellen is always walking up to the mirror and checking himself out. Perhaps he is a little vain... Either way it keeps him occupied while I am doing other stuff.

New Tile and tree stump

This month we took out almost all of our carpet and replaced it with tile. We did put some new carpet in the family room. It looks so much better! Also, I decided to cut down a tree in our front yard the other day. My neighbor helped me drag it over to the street for bulk trash. I got a little notice from the Town of Gilbert telling me that my tree was too big. Luckily, they took it anyway! Next time I put out another huge tree they are going to charge me $33. Oops! I just took a picture of the stump as I did not get a picture of the tree in time. Bulk trash was fast this month!

February Fun

I had to get into the garbage can to smash down some branches that Tommy just cut. Of course, Katie and Kellen thought this was the neatest thing! We all had to get in and have fun in the garbage can. Kinda gross!




Katie took this artsy picture of Tom. I thought it was kinda cool. She loves to take the camera and just take pics of anything. She's our future Ansel Adams!
