PARTY!!! Read on...

Okay, so I was talking with my friend the other day about having a "Cinco De Mayo" party. It would be a family party. We would have all sorts of munchies and fun music for the kids to dance to. Also, a party is not a party without the LIMBO! Of course, we would have prizes for any and all winners. There would be a small charge for the party for the food and location. What is your vote?? Would you come, would your kids love it? The charge would be approx. $10 a family. Let me know! Or we were thinking an 80's theme, but without kids. Please, please share your thoughts. Anyone who wants to come is welcome!

You know you are really terrible at spanish when....

your daughter, who is currently in spanish lessons, corrects you! Oh wow, I knew I was horrible at pronunciation, but not that bad. Really though, my spanish teacher used to have me read the vocabulary words for the week just so he could get a good laugh. For those of you from high school reading this it was Senor Figueroa. Real nice of him, huh?

Also, Katie's latest thing is that sweet and sour sauce is Chinese Ketchup!!

In this picture Katie is sporting my grandma's wig.

Visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa

This last weekend we had the opportunity to fly up to VAncouver, Washington to visit my grandma. It was an emotional weekend as it was the last time I will see my grandma. She is suffering from cancer and her fight will soon come to an end. She is the strongest person I know as she has gone through chemo and everything else under the sun to fight this disease. The doctors give her only a few months to live. As sad as this is I am epecially grateful for the gospel. I know where she is going and that she will be so much happier! Instead of saying goodbye to her I simply said...see you later~ I love you Grandma!!!

Peanut, Peanut Butter, and KELLEN!

The other day I was on the phone with my grandma. The kids were off doing their own thing. Half-way through the conversation I noticed that Kellen was being rather quiet. I was grateful for the momentary lack of screaming "gaga" (meaning dog) at the top of his lungs and continued to talk. Should I have checked on him?? YES! After I finished talking with my grandma I went to look for Kellen. I found him next to the pantry with a new jar of peanut butter, that he opened himself, all over the place. He had put his whole fist in the peanut butter jar and proceeded to put it on the refrigerator, his clothes, and then Katie. Ah, good times! I am still trying to figure out when Kellen learned how to get lids off of peanut butter jars. After we took some pictures he went straight into the bath :)

Okay, but after me....

Tonight Katie saw that I was tired and asked if I would like a massage. I was so excited, so of course I said yes. I moved so that she could give me a little massage. Then all of the sudden she lays down and says, "Okay, but after me." STINKER!!! She makes me laugh so hard everday.
