Recipe for amazing fun with kids:
Throw in two really funny kids
Make sure they think they are on there way to St. George, UT
Instead drive to California and stay with family
Wake up the next day and surprise the kids with Sea World!
Yield: Two very happy kids!!!
We had a lot of fun!! The kids had never been to Sea World and we spent the whole day enjoying everything in sight. We saw all of the shows offered, tried to pet every sea creature available to touch, and left with two soft buluga whale stuffed animals.
Kellen and Katie in front of some very large jaws.
The penguins! You can't see it but behind all of the adult penguins was new little baby penguin. It was so cute!
Polar Bear.
Big mama Walrus.
Here is Katie playing in some snow caves.
This beluga whale thought Katie and Kellen were super cute. She kept swimming up to them and even kissed the glass. Of course the whale kissed the glass by Katie and Kellen just after I put my camera away. Stink! Oh well.
In the afternoon we got to see the trainers play and feed the dolphins. Katie was all over trying to pet the dolphin. The trainer finally moved over right by Katie and allowed her to pet the dolphin. Katie said the dolphin felt like a rubber duck. Kellen touched the dolphin too. He was a little shy about it. Earlier, before the trainers came out, he was playing with a dolphin. The dolphin pretended to swim away but came right back and splashed everyone by the side of the wall with his tail. Sadly, Kellen did not realize what was going on and he was soaked!
Katie took this picture of a Manta Ray. Great picture!
As you can see, Kellen had to wear Tom's sweatshirt because he was covered in water from head to toe from a friendly dolphin.
Beluga Whale
To top it all off, we got to hang out in Santa's sleigh. Merry Christmas!!!
