This year Katie decided that she wanted to start karate. She started off with her white belt (of course) and this last week she tested for her yellow belt. She had to prove herself worthy to have a yellow belt with her punches, her kicks, and her discipline. The teachers are awesome and teach the kids how to be responsible and stranger danger. I am so proud of Katie and her hard work!

This is a bonus picture. Katie decided to paint her brothers face like Superman. In the picture she is trying to make the shape of an "S". I should have known they were up to something when they were super quiet for 5 minutes.
