Kaylea and Katie-future mechanics??

Katie's friend Kaylea Campbell came over to play today. Katie really thinks Kaylea is cool because she can ride her bike without training wheels. They took it upon themselves to go to the garage, take out Tommy's tools, and start trying to take off Katie's training wheels. I didn't think they would get very far. I was so wrong! All of the sudden Katie announces that Kaylea has the first wheel off and they need help with the second. What! I didn't think they would even find the right tool to get the wheel off let alone unscrew the nut and actually take off the training wheel. I took a picture of the girls holding up the wheel that they took off themselves. They are such a good team!

Look What A Dork I Am

Yesterday I put clothes in the tub to soak them in oxy clean. I turned on the tub and walked away. Hello, what was I thinking? I finally came back to the tub after having lunch, helping Katie with something, and changing the laundry. I totally forgot about the running water! What a dork I am!! So here is where I found the water level when I did remember...just about ready to go over! It could have been a very wet disaster!

Have You Heard?!!

They (the church news) just announced that there will be a new temple in South Gilbert on Greenfield and Pecos. I am not sure of the size (although some say it should be comparable to San Diego, but don't quote me) but how exciting! There will also be a new temple in the Thatcher area. I have been waiting forever to hear them announce a Gilbert or Queen Creek Temple and here it is! We are truly in the last days. I am so excited! Also, if you haven't been introduced to the newfamilysearch.org let me know. It is the best new program for genealogy.

Someone Needs A Serious Napkin!

I twice made the mistake of just letting Kellen go to town with his food. His lasagne and yogurt landed more on his face and lap then in his mouth. He had a really good time though. I think it's time to teach him how to use a fork and/or spoon!

March and April

I have been so busy lately that it is hard to post fun pictures and stories. This last month we went to three Easter Egg hunts. We had a Family Fun Day at Makutu's Island and then ice cream. Katie has made several graveyards for different bugs. Kellen refuses to sit in his highchair and insists on being at the table. Our house is for sale-finally. So if anyone knows of people needing a started home, call me! All in all March has been great and April looks to be busy but full of fun as well:)

Rapunzel to Sassy!!

Today I set Katie down to trim her hair. She told me she wanted it cut short. I thought she wanted to grow her hair like Rapunzel. She told me that she was tired of brushing her long hair. She said it hurt too much. So, short is what she got!! She looks so stinking sassy! Her hair matches her big personality!

Today Tommy found out that he passed three of his five licensing exams. Nice! Once he has passed the exams, and finish his four year apprenticeship, he can open his own firm. Great job Bubbah!!!!!!!!!!
