Oh Christmas Tre

 This year we put the Christmas tree up a week before Thanksgiving. It felt like it took forever to get to Thanksgiving and I really wanted to start celebrating the holidays. Also, I had so much in school that I had to do that I wanted to get the tree up earlier than later.

Halloween 2013

This year the kids went to several Halloween parties. For the first party the were zombies with their friends Reese & Reaghan.

For the second party and trick or treating, Kellen wanted to be "Gru" from Despicable ME. In order to make sure that he looked the part, we shaved his head. He wanted to go completely bald....I put my foot down but let him go really short.  Here is the before picture.

 This year Katie was super excited to be Taylor Swift!!! She was darling!

For Kellen's family dinner we didn't something a little different....we had dougnuts!!! Super easy and yummy!! This is the easiest cake ever! Happy birthday to our little 7 year old friend. Next year he gets baptized....time goes  by so fast!

Kellen had a super fun party this year. He begged forever to go to Jambo Park. He went there with a friend for his party and Kellen loved it! So, with Groupon in hand, we went to Jambo Park with a few friends.

Diana's fiance, Ross has two kids that are super fun! The kids are super excited to have cousins nearby!!! They love to dress up!!

Skittles

My parents sweet dog Skittles passed away this past year. He had lung cancer. We knew that he would pass so we took some picture with him before he passed away. He was the best dog and we really miss him. Every morning we would drive over to my parent's house to pick up Skittles. He loved to take rides in cars. We would then drive to school. After dropping the kids we would drive back to my parent's house. It was our little way of spending as much time with Skittles as possible. Love you, Skittles!!

A Beautiful Mind

This past semester was crazy hard! I had to find different ways to make sure that I could remember all the information. I went to the teaching store and bought a bunch of butcher paper. I had paper all over walls with all sorts of symptoms of diseases, what labs we would see, what to do and what recovery looks like. It was sooo much stuff! Tom said that our house looked like a scene from "A Beautiful Mind" movie. I asked if he thought I had schizophrenia like the main character in the movie. For a while there he wondered if our house would ever get back to normal.

Anyway, it worked out and I am starting block 4 in one day!
